What The Event Is All About

In conjunction with secured Grant Funding from Team Ipswich & Free Rein Sports Revenue Grants and the 2012 Open Weekend Community Event Fund, the Suffolk Coastal Petanque Alliance are proud to announce plans for the forthcoming 'Boules In The Park 2010' event.

With the event centred on Ipswich, it is a free-to-enter all-inclusive introduction to petanque for all interested persons being of any age, gender, race or physical ability.

The date for your diary is Sunday July 25th 2010 and whilst the events venue has yet to be officially announced, the timing of the event would be from 10am to around 4pm in the afternoon.

Our 'forward plan' is that the event would prove to the Local Authorities that there is, once again, the demand for petanque facilities within the Ipswich area and that, given a bit of luck, the events venue itself may turn out to be the actual more permanent location in the fullness of time.

With the support of the Coastal League, equipment, coaching and advice will all be on hand on the day and we look forward to seeing you on the day.

Please regularly check this website for further details.
